Sunday Services | 10.30am

Worship & Praise

Whenever we gather together, we love to give God our praise and thanks and know of his presence. We are very blessed with a Worship Team of great talent and commitment who lead us in worship.

Our services are informal, using a wide variety of worship and music styles. We love to sing, as well as being free and open to express our praise and thanksgiving through many other varied and creative ways.

We love to get to know God more deeply and so at the heart of our worship is hearing Gods word and understanding how we apply this to our everyday lives. This is followed by an opportunity to respond in more worship and prayer before being sent out once more to serve God in the world.

Together with a Prayer Ministry available during and after each service, we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us, bringing healing and wholeness.

For those wishing to access the circuit live streaming, each Sunday at 10.30am, just click on the link to access the service via the North Kent Methodist Circuit.

We have a passion to share our gifts and faith through music and song during our services at Third Avenue. Each of the Worship Group brings different musical skills whether they play one or more instruments, sing or do both!

The group meets most Thursday evenings at 8pm and before the service on a Sunday to practice and prepare for worship. We also have the occasional jamming days; opportunities to share our skills with other churches in the Circuit and organise and perform at Sloley Methodist Church Summer Festival in Norfolk, each August Bank Holiday.

If you play an instrument, or sing why not come along and see what we do, or contact Mark on worship@gillinghammethodists.uk
